Raymond R. "Dick" Yurecko, age 85 of Apple Valley, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2011 from lung cancer. Preceded in death by his first wife, Lorraine; 2 sisters, Dorothy Yurecko and Leona Lind and brother, Edward. Survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Margaret; 3 nieces, Maureen (Bill) Golliett, Kathleen Peters, and Janet Clark; nephew, Tom Lind; stepson, Kent Manthie; niece, Wendy Ostby; and friends. Dick enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps in 1943 and served as a medic in Guam until the end of the war. Dick and Margaret enjoyed spending their winters in the Phoenix area with friends and enjoyed travelling. Private family service 11 AM Tuesday, January 25, 2011, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 147th and Garrett Ave., Apple Valley with private family interment Hillside Cemetery. Memorials to Mount Olivet Rolling Acres.
