Death of David Ach
David Ach, Esq. died suddenly about 10:30 o'clock last night at his home on West Main street of congestion of the lungs. He had been in failing health for the past two years, but was able to be about, and was apparently in as good health as usual up to within an hour of his death. Mr. Ach was born in Makonheime, Alsace, France, nearly seventy eight years ago and came to this city in 1856 and resided here from that time. He retired from active business about twenty years ago. While engaged in mercantile pursuits he was known as an honest, industrious and successful business man. He leaves a son and daughter, Moses Ach, of this city, and Mrs. Rebecca Haas, of Bedford, Ky., to mourn his sudden demise. The funeral will occur Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from his son's residence on Main street.
