Janett Eavenson Bowden, age 38, our loving and beautiful wife, mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter and aunt, passed away at her home June 14, 1990 after a long and courageous battle.

She was born June 26, 1951 in Murray, Utah to Will I. and Emma Webb Eavenson. Janett married Lee C. Bowden on June 12, 1970 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was an active member of the LDS Church serving as Sunday School Secretary and in the Young Womens organization. Also, she worked with the Special Children for a year in Granite School District. Jan was raised in Midvale and graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1969.

Survived by her husband, Lee; children, Chad Lee, Justin Will and Misti Marie, all West Jordan; parents, Will I. and Emma Eavenson, Midvale; brothers, Dale Irven, West Valley; Ronny John, West Jordan; grandmother, Violet Bowden, Salt Lake City; father-in-law, Wayne L. Bowden and wife, Rosanna, Midvale. '' We love you sweetheart and will miss you.''

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 18, 1990, at 1:00 p.m. in the West Brook 2nd LDS Ward Chapel 4113 West 6200 South, Kearns. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary 8090 So. State Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday at the church one hour prior to services. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
