Peter J Nozero was born in North Italy in 1919, he came to America at age 2. He fought in Europe during WWII and during the War met Paula Reeves. He had 2 daughters named Victoria and Elizabeth (my mom). In 1987 his first and only grandchild was born. In 1997 from complcations due to heart surgery he past away. He is buried in Reeves Cemetery because my grams will be buried there. The top picture is me helping my Papa put together my first swing set. The second is of my Papa, my Grams and I are their 50th wedding anniversy party. The third picture is of my dog Pickle, my Papa wasn't much of an animal lover but he adored Pickle and she adored him so I felt it only fair to put her picture next to his.

I was 9 when my papa died but I still remember so many things. I remember the looks of shock given to me by my mother and aunt when he would let me play with all the buttons in his car or mess up his hair. My papa was a great dad but a little strict. Not with me. I could do no wrong in my papa's eyes. When I was only a few months old he would by me outfits that cost more then some people make in a week. I remember him teaching me to ride my first 2 wheel bike. He never let go, not until I was ready. I wish I could remember the days before his surgery. I can't remember if I told him I loved him. I pray to God that I did. I remember after his surgery and how he never woke up. I remember bring him things I'd colored for him and how even with his eyes closed you could see his eyes turn to where my voice was coming from. And I remember the day he died. I remember my daddy coming to pick me up at school (which was a pretty rare thing so I know something was wrong) and I remember him driving like a crazy person to get to the hospital. I remember walking into the room and my mom telling me I had to say goodbye to my papa. I don't know if I said anything, all I remember is holding his hand and kissing it. I couldn't have asked for a better grandpa. He was my whole world and I was his. With my papa I never had to wonder if he really loved me. That question never even entered my mind with my papa. No other man will ever love me the way my papa did and I will never love another man as much as I loved him. So unconditionally. With all my heart. I miss you papa and I hope you knew then and know now how much I love you. Rest in peace.

I carry your heart with me
(I carry it in my heart)
I am never without it
(anywhere I go you go, my dear; and whatever is done by only me is your doing, my darling)
I fear no fate
(for you are my fate, my sweet)
I want no world
(for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
I carry your heart (I carry it in my heart)
