Hulda grew up in Pennsylvania, where she attended the Pennsylvania Museum School of Industrial Arts. She then continued her art education at the Prussian Academy of Art and the Barnes Foundation in Germany. She began her art career in New York, where she also taught. In 1963, she settled in Ventnor, where her parents resided, and continued her career. Hulda's art work is featured in locations such as The Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Noyes Museum.
She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Fred. She was survived by: her loving cat, "Twinkie"; friends, Lisa, Tyler, Rob, Robin, Eric, Nino, and Sabastain.
Hulda lived her life to the fullest, she made everyone smile, if you met her once you never forgot her. She will be deeply missed by all.
