Carol Vera Carson Davis , 86, died Saturday, September 6, 1997 in Austin, TX. Born August 27, 1911 in Wellington, KS to Charles Christopher Carson and Ivy Lentz Carson. Mrs. Davis graduated from Bethel College in Newton, KS in 1933. She taught high school in the 1940's in McCurtain County, OK and worked for 27 years at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, OK. She has been a resident of Austin, TX for 11 years, living at the Rebecca Baines Johnson Retirement Center. She is survived by: son and daughter-in-law, Joel and Lena Davis of Austin; daughter and son-in-law, Neva and Don Harrison of Tulsa, OK; daughter, Russella Condley of San Antonio; 8 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Roy Davis; son, Anthony. Graveside service 10 a.m. Thursday, Memorial Park Cemetary. Moore's Eastlawn Chapel 622-1155
