"AKER, Eddie R. (Age 99) entered into rest on Saturday April 10, 2004 in Spokane.
His parents Malkom and Anna Akre sailed from Norway settling in Spokane. He served in the United States Army during WWII and played at local nightclubs with Bing Crosby "before he was famous". He worked on Grand Coulee Dam, Kaiser, Coca Cola and the state of Washington. He was a member of El Katif Shrine.
He has left behind many nieces and nephews and his friends at Franklin Park Mall.
No services will be held at his request. Inurnment will be at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. Memorial contributions may be made to Dominican Sisters at Ft. George Wright."
