MRS. MARY ELIZABETH DOWNIN, widow of the late Charles M. Downin, died at the home of her son, F. E. Downin, 335 South Locust Street yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock, from complications, after an illness of five weeks, aged 86 years, three months and 21 days.
She was a pioneer member of the St. Paul's United Brethren Church.
She is survived by the following children: Jacob W., Charles F., Frank P., Robert L., Hagerstown; David A., Bethlehem, Pa.; Norman H., Harrisburg; one sister, Mrs. Alice Jones, and one brother, Joseph Hause, Hagerstown.
Funeral services will be at the home Friday at 2:30 p. m. by the Rev. Dr. F. Berry Plummer. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
