Kurt McFall was the son of Tommy Keith McFall and Joan Marjorie Svoboda. He died under mysterious circumstances at Land's End, San Francisco. His body was found at the bottom of a cliff at Land's End. Police have a number of conflicting clues and accounts as to how Kurt died.
Kurt's father, as well as a friend of Kurt's, believes his death may have been the result of Kurt's desire to leave an occult group he was involved in. Kurt was visiting the head of this group the night of his death. However, the leader of this group vehemently denies any involvement.
Officially, Kurt died of multiple traumatic injuries consistent with a fall from the cliff. A member of the Coast Guard felt that Kurt had probably fallen from the Cliff. According to Thomas McFall, a San Francisco Coroner felt that Kurt's death was a homicide but that he did not have enough evidence to testify in court and so classified his death as unknown.
There were other suspicious circumstances which suggested foul play was possible. Although Kurt never drank, beer cans were found around his car. A prized possession, a coat of armor, was also found missing. Family members have continued to search for the cause of Kurt's death.
