"Boyd Clark Pickerill, a former Cedar Rapids resident before moving to San Gabriel, Calif., died Friday following a sudden illness. He was born Aug. 17, 1898, at Shellsburg.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert Van Horn of Richardson, Texas, and Mrs. Robert Pazour of Fort Worth; one sister, Mrs. Gordon Hagan of Atkins; two brothers, Harold A. Pickerill and Earl C. Pickerill of Clearwater, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
Mr. Pickerill was a member of Cuengha lodge No. 513 A.F. and A.M. Memorial services: Chapel of Memories at 1:30 Tuesday by the Rev. John M. Hardy of the First Christian church and Mt. Hermon lodge A.F. and A.M. Burial: Cedar Memorial. Friends may call at Turner's after 7 p.m. Monday until noon Tuesday. All Master Masons are asked to meet at the hall at 1 Tuesday to attend the service."
