Mr. Brinkmeyer was confirmed in the Methodist church at Leslie and remained a member until his death. For many years he lived at Leslie and then moved to Washington. The past several years, He resided on a farm near New Haven.
He suffered a stroke on Saturday morning, and without regaining consciousness passed away Monday morning, November 19th, at the age of 72 years.
He is survived by his wife Alice; two sons, Raymond and Harold; one daughter, Eleanor; three grandchildren; one half brother; two sisters and other near relatives.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 21st at Frietag's Funeral Home and thence to the Leslie Methodist church, where services were conducted by Rev. G. A. Prietz. Interment was in the church cemetery.
