Mae Marie Siemsen was the youngest child and only daughter of Henry Siemsen and Gracie Wilson. Her five older brothers doted on their little sister. She married (1) Daniel Anderson Greene (Nov. 14, 1918, SC-Jan. 11, 2000, SC) at Duluth, Minnesota, November 16, 1946. Daniel was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran. They were divorced in California in 1954. Mae then married Donald James Goda at Beverly Hills February 11, 1956. Donald was a Korean War veteran. They made their home in Culver City, where for many years they had a house on Jasmine Avenue. Later they moved to Ojai. When Mae was being treated for cancer, her sister-in-law, Madelyn (Schermerhorn) Siemsen, stayed by her side for several months until her death. Mae was baptized into the Catholic faith just two days before she died.
