DELTA - Robert Grant "Shine" Church, age 95, passed away March 19, 2004, at Delta.

Born November 10, 1908 in Panguitch to George N. and Sarah Jane Shakespear Church. Married Yvonne Heyborne April 14, 1930 in Salt Lake City. Later solemnized in Manti Temple. She died November 26, 2002.

Moved to Delta in 1923. Attended AC Nelson Academy. He and Yvonne served a mission to the Manti and Provo Temples. Owned and operated Church Lumber Yard for 18 years. Hobbies included fishing, rock hounding, pine nut hunting. Great love for family.

Survived by daughters and son, JuVene (Kenneth) Porter, Sutherland, Joyce (Robert) Ashby, Gary (Annalee) Church, both Delta; 17 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Ned M. Church, Delta, Mel Church, Sutherland, Ray Church, Ogden, Dwight Church, Fillmore; sisters, Margaret Callister, Delta, Sarah Finlinson, Oak City. Preceded in death by granddaughter; two grandsons; brothers, George, Wally, Ralph, Jim; sister, Deona.

Funeral services, Monday March 22, 2004, 11 a.m. in Delta 1st Ward. Friends call Sunday March 21, 2004, 7-8 p.m. at Nickle Mortuary, Delta and at church Monday, 9:30-10:40 a.m. Burial, Delta Cemetery.
