EASTMAN - Mrs. Bessie Allen, age 81, died Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11A.M., Friday, January 28, 2005 at Zebulon Baptist Church with Rev. Ben Foxworth and Rev. Olin Hamlin officiating. Interment will follow in Orphans Cemetery.
Mrs. Allen was a member of Zebulon Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, James Allen.
She is survived by four daughters, Barbara Jackson (Carrol) and Mary Ann Widner, both of Dublin, Sandra Ussery (Robert) of Brunswick, GA and Vicki Houser (David) of Brunswick, GA; two sons, Tim Allen (Harriette Ann) and Danny Allen (Beverly), both of Eastman; three sisters, Nuvel Douglas, Mattie Williams, and Flora Westbrook, all of Eastman; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
