Theodore B. Weber was born in Okeene, Oklahoma on November 29. 1918 to Christ L. and Anna Bierig Weber and passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2003 in Enid, Oklahoma. He graduated from high school and attended college for one year and then he purchased the Okeene Cleaning Shop. On June 21, 1941, he married his beloved wife, Lorene Kinsley in Enid, Oklahoma. In 1943 he served in World II and was assigned to the 96th infantry Division. He was awarded numerous medals, including the Expert infantryman Badge., Combat infantryman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, American Theater Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon, with two battle stars and arrowhead for assault landing on the Philippine Islands and Okinawa, the Purple Heart, Philippines Liberation Ribbon with two battle stars, and the World II Victory Medal. He returned home on December 12. 1945 and took a job as a butcher at the Okeene IGA Store. His specialty was homemade garlic sausage. In 1951, he took a job as a car route salesman for the Armour Packing Company where he traveled out of Okmulgee and later transferred to Oklahoma City. He left the Armour Packing Company in 1963 and traveled for Deco Builders in Oklahoma City. Ted and Lorene moved back to Okeene, Oklahoma, their hometown, in 1976. Mr. Weber was a member of the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Okeene where he served on the Pastoral Council Board for many years. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, DAV and KOEC. On May 9, 2002, his first wife, Lorene preceded him in death. He married Lorraine Brown Weber on July 20, 2003 and they made their home in Enid, Oklahoma. Survivors include his wife, Lorraine of the home; two daughters, Lois and husband, Mike Robinson of Yukon and Deborah and husband, Alan Whitty of Ft. Worth, Texas; three grandchildren, Sean Donahue, Amanda Whitty, Brian Whitty.
