Betsy had a wonderful sense of humor and had too numerous friends to count. She was the type of person that went with me to my husbands, Cecil's surgery, that she never met and sat there with me for moral support. I worked along side Betsy for some years and there was never a dull moment. She constantly talked about her grand children and was very proud of them. A lot of her friends lost touch with Betsy after she moved closer to her son's but we never ever forgot her and I let them know she had left this world and we would we see her soon.
A Memorial service was held Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 12:00 at Sunset Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, Betsy wanted anything to be made to the Transplant Center Fund at University Hospital, 4502 Medical Drive, San Antonio, TX 78229
