Suicide With Morphine.

Tipton, Aug. 27. – Samuel T. Clouser, of Windfall, committed suicide by taking twenty grains of morphine. The cause of his rash act was that his father-in-law, Holcombe Mitchell, was surety for him on two notes aggregating $300. The notes were nearly matured and young Clouser could not meet the obligation. He was an odd fellow and a mason, and in the latter order he carried a life insurance policy for $2,500, fully paid up. He leaves a wife and two children who will get the insurance money.
