In 1840 she and her parents and eight siblings lived on a farm in Pike Township, Coshocton County, OH.

In 1850 she and her parents and six siblings lived there. Also living with them were William Bailey, age 73, and Abigail Bailey, age 76--both born in Virginia.

In 1860 she and her husband and their two children lived on a farm in the same township. He owned real property worth $4800 and personal property valued at $1450.

In 1870 she and Henry and their seven children lived there. He owned real property worth $7000 and personal property valued at $1000.

In 1880 she and her husband and seven children--all but Mary, who was living with Martha's brother Daniel and his family--lived there.

In 1900 she and Henry and two of their children--Flora and Madison--lived there. They owned their home, mortgage free.

In 1910 and 1920 she, Flora, and Madison lived there.

Henry and Martha donated the ground for the Broomstick Methodist Church.
