Pauline May Mummert, of Hanover, entered into God's eternal care January 25, 2011. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Guy L. Mummert, on October 5, 1965.

Born July 21, 1916, in Westminster, MD, she was the daughter of the late Tempeth and Beulah (Barnhart) Berwager.

Pauline was a member of St. Paul's Dubs Lutheran Church, Hanover, where she was a part of the Golden Age Sunday School Class. She attended Bish's Grade School.

She worked as a presser at the Dinah Lynne Sewing Factory in Jefferson for 16 years, and then at Sylvia Garment for seven years as a presser before retiring in 1982.

Pauline had a passion for quilting, she also enjoyed cross stitch, doing puzzles, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by three children, Delores M. Bair of Spring Grove, JoAnn M. Mummert of Hanover, and Larry B. Mummert and wife, Barbara of Hanover; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several step great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mary Gilbert of Hanover, Grace Hempfing and husband, Gerald of Hanover, and Nadine Neiderer of Hanover.

She was preceded in death by a son, Donald L. Mummert; four brothers, Woodrow Berwager, Ivan Berwager, Hurley Berwager, and Melvin Berwager; and five sisters, Treva Zumbrum, Lettie Dupler, Gladys Shadle, Hazel Sullivan, and Erma Hilker.

Interment: Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover.
