Received the Purple Heart as well as other Awards and Medals. A charter member of Post #9267 VFW of Westmont. Cherished son of the late Louis and Mary (Hofbauer) Pasternik; beloved brother of Theresa Toon; loving uncle of Nancy Toon, Edward (Susan) and Richard Pasternik; preceded by brothers Edward (Alice), Adrian (Helen) and Robert Pasternik.
