Maurice "Windy" Gilbert Biediger, age 70, of La Coste, TX, passed away February 25, 2004 in San Antonio, TX. Maurice was born Sept. 20, 1933 in LaCoste, TX to the late Wilfred and Agnes Christilles Biediger.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Biediger and sister, Geraldine Biediger Parma.
Maurice is a 1951 graduate of La Coste High School. He owned and operated a Mobil/Exxon Service Station in La Coste for 35 years. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Racing Association and a former Vol. Fireman in La Coste.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Viola Mae Burow Biediger of La Coste; son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Dianna Biediger; daughters and sons-in-law, Michele and Troy Bippert, Janell and Johnny Jackel all of La Coste; grandchildren, Jenna Bippert, Cameron Biediger, and Brandon Jackel; brother and sister-in-law, Sylvan and Cheryl Biediger of La Coste; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, February 27, 2004 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home in Castroville, TX. The Rosary will start at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, 2004 at Our Lady of Grace in La Coste. The Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004, at 10:00 a.m at Our Lady of Grace Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery in La Coste, TX.
Memorials may be given to St. Louis Catholic School, Our Lady of Grace Cemetery or American Heart Association.
