Obituary:

Ronald Paul Anderson, 57 of Elizabethtown, KY, died Tuesday, February 07, 2006 at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown, KY.

He retired from the U. S. Army, a veteran of the Vietnam War and was a correction officer for the State of Michigan. His memberships include: Lebanon Lutheran Church-Elca and the American Legion both in Whitehall, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Leona Anderson.

He is survived by his wife, Carola Anderson; one son and daughter-in-law, Franklin and Claudia Anderson of Germany; two daughters and their husbands, Connie and Frank Bryan and Robin and Keith Fessenden all of Twin Lake, MI; two sisters, Barbara Hain of Montaque, MI and Mary Jane Briles of Summerville, SC; six grandchildren, Tatjanie Anderson, Tamara Anderson, Shelby Page Anderson, Max Bryan, Cory Fessenden and Joseph Paul Peters.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 P. M., Saturday, February 11, 2006 at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, Radcliff, KY with Bishop Larry Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Colesburg Cemetery, Colesburg, KY with military honors.

The visitation will begin at 11:00 A. M. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Son of Clifford Elmore Anderson and Leona Lucille (Porter) Anderson. Both sets of Ronald's grandparents came to America from Norway.


Ronald Paul Anderson has two burial plots. One in Hardin County, Kentucky, St. Clare Cemetery Memorial # 64684473.


The second is located in Oceana County, Michigan, Ferry Township North Cemetery Memorial # 118372386. Both head stones are identical in both locations . To date;10-09-2013, it is unclear as to which location he is actually laid to rest.
