Frank was the son of Frank Arnett Sr. and Lillie Jane Koon Arnett and husband of Louise Bartholow Arnett, whom he married Aug. 21, 1937. Frank Jr. was also preceded in death by his brother, Joseph E. Arnett; infant sister, Nellie Arnett; daughter, Sarah Lee Arnett; granddaughter, Rebecca Haught; and nephew, Mickey Bartholow.
Frank attended Rivesville public schools until a fire destroyed Rivesville High School. He graduated from Fairview High School in 1934. He was a very active participant in sports.
Frank was a well-known farmer in Marion County and could ride old tractors with the best on West Virginia hillsides. Frank lived in the house in which he was born. He raised beef cattle and was active in the Marion County Livestock Association. He and Louise were avid Harley-Davidson fans and rode to Pittsburgh, Pa., quite often. He made extra money riding his bike to Charleston down old Highway 19 to purchase license plates for others.
Frank was a charter member of the Paw Paw Fair Association and had served the association as president and treasurer. He was also an active member of the Oaklawn Cemetery Association of Rivesville.
Frank carried mail on rural routes served by the Rivesville Post Office. In 1977, he retired from the Consolidation Coal Co. Four States Mine as tipple foreman. To the miners, he will be remembered as Junior or June Arnett.
He will be fondly remembered by his family, which include a daughter, Betty and her husband Edward NeSmith of Rivesville; grandchildren, Rodney Haught, Frank and Melinda Haught, Cathy and David Reed, and Janice and Barry Crews, all of Texas; step-grandchildren, Judd and Olga NeSmith and Jolie NeSmith of Colorado; great-grandchildren, Michael, Amanda and Mason Haught, Carson Wildt, Derek and Casey Reed, Amy and Matt Sikes, Allison Reed, Ashton Reed, and Landon and Grayson Crews; and special friends, Becky and Lana Cooper.
Frank's extended family includes brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mrs. Amy Arnett, Mr. and Mrs Jess Bartholow and Geraldine Rodeheaver; and nieces and nephews, Dr. and Mrs. George Rodeheaver, Walter and Kelly Rodeheaver, David and Bridgett Bartholow, Bonnie Bartholow, Kevin and Phyllis Bartholow, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Toothman, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Corley and Shirley Saffle.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Claude Kinty and Duane Stiles officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Rivesville.
