Varna--Johanna Fredreika Kietzmann, 89, of 214 Vine died at 9:05 a.m. Tuesday September 22, 1998, at Maple Lawn Home Health Center in Eureka.
Born December 30, 1908, in Secor to Henry and Maggie Everding Seggerman, she married Clarence Kietzmann on February 24, 1934, in Varna. He died May 30, 1990.
She also was preceded in death by three brothers and eight sisters.
Surviving are one son, Stephen of Toluca; two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Carol) Strayer of Metamora and Shirley Wolfe of Ironwood, Michigan; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister Rosalie Fortman of Morton.
She worked at Arterbury Nursing Home in Washburn and St. Joseph Nursing Home in Lacon.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid.
Services will be a 11:00 a.m. Friday at her church. The Rev. Peter Glock will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon. Burial will be at St. Paul's Church Cemetery.
Memorial services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Maple Lawn Home Assembly Room.
Memorials may be made to her church or any charity.
