Susie. L. Daffron, of Naples, FL., died Friday, Jan. 21, 2011.

She was born Feb. 22, 1920, at Thomasville, Mo., daughter of the late William Abner Andrews and Ledia Moore Andrews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Riley Daffron, one brother and seven sisters: Infant brother Andrews, Infant Brother Andrews, Chloa Emily Goodman, Infant Sister Andrews, Leona Annette Trantham, Emma Jean Braswell.

She was united in marriage Oct. 6, 1944, to Junior Riley Daffron.

Burial was in Huddleston Cemetery, West Plains, Mo.

She was the beloved mother of three daughters, Rowan Bartell and husband Jeff of Naples Fla., Carolyn Black and husband Ron of Washington, Ill., and Brenda Francis and husband David of Ames, Iowa; and one son, Dale Daffron and wife Charlette of Jonesboro. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Susie leaves a legacy of her beautiful hand-made quilts to family and friends.

She was a member of United Free Will Baptist Church of West Plains.
