She was an inspector for Unitog Clothing Company. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Spring Creek Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents and husband Darwin D. Gregg. She is survived by two sons, Robert Payne and wife Sandy, Jamel Payne and wife Sandi; two brothers, William H. Rambo and Melvin Rambo; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
