A celebration of Debbie's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Wightman United Methodist Church. Pastor Susan Sides and Rev. Donald Thompson will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be at Wightman United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Debbie was born June 14, 1952 in Union County. She was the daughter of the late John Frank Gaddy and Helen Little Gaddy who survives.
She was a retiree of Union County Dept. of Social Services.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Felton Pope of the home, and daughter Keri Clontz of Fort Lawn, SC. and grandson Hunter Shaw of Fort Lawn. Two brothers, Max Gaddy and Neil Gaddy both of Polkton.
