Hatton Darby Brown, 71, life-long and prominent resident of Barnesville, died at his home Friday afternoon following a prolonged illness.
He had been a farmer and livestock dealer and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Poole Brown; one son, Richard P. Brown and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Hilton Funeral Home in Barnesville where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
Expressions of sympathy should be made to the Barnesville Baptist Church building fund.
