Funeral services for Judge R. May, 75, of Cotton Valley, who died Friday in a Shreveport hospital after a brief illness, were at 4 p.m. Friday in the Cotton Valley Methodist Church with the Rev. W. O. Lynch officiating. Burial was in the Cotton Valley cemetery.
Survivors are his widow; a son, Odell May of Cotton Valley; a daughter, Mrs. W. G. Christian of Shreveport; a sister, Mrs. Odis Alger of Columbia; two brothers, H.B. May and Bill May of Monroe; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
