Friends may call at Williams Mortuary from 7-9 pm today to pay last respects to Mrs Carrie Dennis Brown, 76, who died yesterday in Honolulu.
The rosary will be recited by members of the Living Rosary at 7:30 pm at the mortuary's Chapel of the Chimes. The Rosary also will be recited by parishioners at 8 pm at the chapel. Private services will be held at St. Patrick's Church at 9 am Thursday with burial to follow at Oahu Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown, who lived at 1119 8th Ave., was born Oct. 27, 1886, in Honolulu. She was a member of the Living Rosary. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Hawaii Heart Society or Catholic Charities.
Mrs. Brown is survived by a son, Dr. Charles S. Brown; and sisters, Mrs. Isabel Sousa, Mrs. Clara Larsen of Honolulu and Mrs. Emily Silver of Hayward, CA.
