Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, January 26, 1993, surrounded by her family.

Our mother left this world of pain and suffering and entered into a new life of everlasting happiness and peace. She was born July 3, 1909 in Chamisal, New Mexico, to Isidoro and Matilda Gonzales Cordova. She married Epemenio Cordova, Nov. 28, 1926 in Penasco, New Mexico. He preceded her in death October 1, 1958. Juanita was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, and was past president and member of the Guadalupana and Altar Societies.

She gave extensive volunteer service to her church. She was extremely proud of her family and was always there to give her love. She was a faithful and caring friend to many. Many friends and relatives always received a warm welcome in her home and she cared for many who were in need. Through her many quiet deeds of kindness and sacrifices for others she was a wonderful example for all.

God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so He put his arms around you and He whispered "Come with me." With tearful eyes we watched you suffer and saw you fade away, although we love you dearly, we could not make you stay. A loving golden heart stopped beating and working hands were put to rest. God breaks our hearts to prove to us...He only takes the best.

Mom and grandma, we all love you, without you our hearts will be empty. Our only consolation is that you are no longer suffering and are at peace.

Survivors: sons and their wives, Rufino and Elsie; Raymond and Barbara; Timmy; Joe and Shirley Cordova, West Jordan; Ernest and Bertha Cordova, Tooele; Lorence Cordova; Midvale; daughters and their husbands, Matilda and Ernesto Cordova, Kearns; Lilian and Fred Diel, New Jersey; Maxine and Joseph Martinez, Midvale; 28 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son, Frumencio Cordova; brother, Fred Cordova and sister Manuelita Cordova.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Therese Catholic Church, 75 East Lennox St., Midvale, Saturday, January 30, 11 a.m. Vigil Service and Holy Rosary will be held at the church Friday, January 29, at 7:30 p.m., where friends may call 6-8 p.m., and Saturday 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.

TAUGHT US HOW TO LOVE....

REST IN PEACE DEAR MOTHER
