Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Jane Beverley, of Stuarts Draft, who died Saturday at 4:30 o'clock in the afternoon, were held at 3:00 o'clock this afternoon at Calvary Methodist Church, Stuarts Draft, with Rev. J. H. Bean officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. J. V. Salerno, Summit, New Jersey; Mrs. John Elick, Sherando; and Mrs. Thomas Via, Stuarts Draft; five sons, Crawford Beverley, Savannah, Ga.; Ashby Beverley, Newport News; Willard Beverley, Newport News, Calvin Beverley, Newport News; and Nevel Beverley, Stuarts Draft.
Also six grandchildren, Crawford Beverley Jr., Savannah; Connie Beverley, Stuarts Draft; James Beverley, Newport News, Geraldo Beverley, Newport News; Jane Beverley, Savannah; and Peggy Ann Beverley, Newport News.
Active pallbearers included Walter Pannell, Minor Willis, Marvin Bathler, George Blake, James Robertson, and Erskine Sprouse. Honorary pallbearers included Bara Hull, Frances Painter, Ruth Fretwell and Ida Blake.
