"Services for Mrs. Meta Fleischer, 87, of 223 South F St., Oxnard, will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the James A. Reardon Mortuary Chapel, Oxnard, with Rev. James K. Bain Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Ivy Lawn Memorial Park.
"Mrs. Fleischer, a longtime Oxnard resident and native of California, died Sunday in a Duarte hospital after a long illness. She was born Feb. 22, 1886, in Sacramento.
"Mrs. Fleischer attended schools in San Francisco. She came to Oxnard with her late husband, who died in 1957. The couple engaged in ranching on their property near Oxnard Airport, west of the city, for many years. Mrs. Fleischer was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Oxnard Monday Club.
"She is survived by sons, W. Robert Fleischer of Ojai, and Ed P. Fleischer of Arcadia."
