Warren Berry, 63, Plattsmouth,

The Plattsmouth farmer and cattle feeder was found dead in his wrecked car Monday about five miles northwest of Plattsmouth, Cass County Sheriff Fred Tesch reported.
The sheriff said the vehicle was discovered on an ice covered creek and investigation showed it had nosed down about 15 feet into the creek bed and turned over on its side. Berry got out of the vehicle and attempted to crawl up the steep bank, the investigation showed, but when he was unable to make it he crept inside the trunk of the car which had sprung open, and was huddled there in a sitting position when his body was discovered by William Starkjohn Monday morning.
