PEABODY — Betty Maxine (Atkins) Seibel, a loving wife and secretary, passed away on Saturday (Jan. 22, 2011) at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.She was born on June 5, 1926, in Havensville to Clinton and Jessie (Hess) Atkins. On Nov. 19, 1950, she married Ernest Seibel.She is survived by her husband, Ernest Seibel; brothers, Paul Atkins of Peabody and Bill Atkins of Kansas City; and a sister, Marian Break of El Dorado.She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Jessie Atkins and a brother, Richard Atkins.A visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Baker Funeral Home in Peabody. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Peabody Christian Church in Peabody. Pastor James Pohlman will officiate.Interment will be at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Peabody.Memorials may be given to Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody Historical Society, Peabody-Burns High School Alumni Association or Peabody Christian Church.Baker Funeral Home in Peabody is in charge of the arrangements.
