The deceased was born fie miles northeast of Linton on March 29, 1893 and had lived all of his life in the Lone Tree community. He was the son of John Wes and Sadie (Walker) Beasley He had worked at the Maumee stripper mine before retiring and was also engaged in farming.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Murl (Tyler) Beasley of Jasonville rte 1, to whom he was married March 12, 1912; two sons, Max Beasley and Dale Beasley of Jasonville rte 1; four grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Houghton Butler of Merritt Island, Fla., and two brothers-in-law, Nelson Bennett of Linton and Houghton Butler of Merritt Island, Fla.
The body was taken to the Welch and Cornet Funeral home where friends may call after 7 p.m. tonight. Funeral services will be held at the Funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with Rev. Roy Bridwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview cemetery.
