Services for Dr. Marion C. Smalley, 76, Grand Saline, are set for 2 p.m. Friday in Bartley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Don Dodge officiating. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery. Dr. Smalley died Tuesday afternoon in a Grand Saline nursing home after a brief illness. He was born March 21, 1907, in Crawford County, Ohio, and lived in Grand Saline 30 years where he practiced chiropractic medicine. He was a member of the First United Church in Grand Saline and the American Chiropractic Association. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jessie Smalley,, Grand Saline; a sister, Dorothy Failor, New Washington, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Hattie Wallace, South Bend, Ind., and Gladys Wertz, Tiffin. Ohio; several nieces, and nephews, Ohio. Pallbearers will be Walton Bryant, David Echols, Leland Curry, John Rash, Kenneth Kennedy, Galloway Darby. Honorary pallbearers will be Men's Bible Class of the Methodist Church.
