Death of Henry Masterson
William Henry Masterson died at his home northwest of Anadarko on Sunday, May 2, at the age of 55 years. The funeral was held at the cemetery on Monday, May 3. The funeral service being preached by Rev. W.E. Robinson of the M.E. Church of this city and the funeral arrangements being in charge of Elmer W. Gish.

Mr. Masterson was born in Bluffton, Wells county, Indiana March 27, 1865. From Indiana he moved to Illinois, coming from that state to Oklahoma in 1891. On August 11, 1894 he was married to Miss Anna J. Boydston at Caddo, Okla. To this union there were born seven children, five boys and two girls. Of these one died in infancy.

The surviving children are, Roscoe, Vergie, Stewart, Henry, Arden, Troy and Veta, all living here.

Mr. Masterson was very well known in this community, and the many friends of the family express their condolences to the bereaved ones.
