Oren C. Kotterman, 81, Rt. 2 Peru, died at Miami Nursing Home here at 6 a.m. Saturday after a three-month illness. He was a retired farmer and a retired agent for State Farm Mutual Insurance Co. Born in Miami county on May 10, 1884, he was the son of Aaron and Mary Ann Olds Kotterman. He was married April 24, 1909, in Kewanna to Ella Mae Clark, who survives. Other survivors are a son, Aaron C. Kotterman, Rt. 1, Denver; a daughter, Miss Arlene Kotterman, Lafayette, and five grandchildren. He was a member of Chili Methodist Church. Funeral will be at McCain Funeral Home at 3 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Albert J. Ryder officiating. Burial will be in the Chili cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
