W.H. PARSONS DIES IN SEATTLE July 17. William Hinckley Parsons, 84, prominent Seattle banker and early Alaska businessman died here last night. He was chairman of the board of the First Seattle National bank until his retirement in 1935. He was one of three members of an advisory committee to the Reconstruction Finance Corporation appointed by President Herbert Hoover. He went to Alaska in 1898 and founded the Washington-Alaska Bank in Fairbanks in 1905 and returned to Seattle in 1909 to enter the banking business.
