George Washington Fuller, 63, of 323 Lincoln Ave., Ephrata, died Sunday at the Ephrata Community Hospital at 11:20 a.m. after being stricken ill at church. A resident of Ephrata since 1945, Fuller became ill while waiting in the choir section of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Ephrata, for the worship service to begin. Death was due to a heart attack. Born in Seville, Perry County, he was the husband of Helen M. Book Fuller and a son of the late John and Julie Swinehart Fuller. He was active in church work at Trinity Lutheran Church, sang in the choir and was a former member of the church council. He had been employed for the past 25 years by Penn Dairies, Lancaster, and was a former sales manager of the Ephrata branch of the dairy. At the time of his death, he was in charge of the company's vending department. Before living in Ephrata, he had resided in New Holland. He was a member and past president of the Ephrata Lions Club. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Betty Mae, wife of J. Donald Smith, New Holland; a son, Robert E., Eden, and three grandchildren. Other survivors include the following brothers and sisters: Jennie, wife of David Powell, Ickesburg; Birley D., Lancaster; Harry, Ickesburg; John, of Elizabethtown; Mrs. Amanda Darrenkamp, Mount Joy, and Lester, New Bloomfield, Pa.
