Almon Thornsberry, 62 year old farmer and stockman of the Deans Creek community, south of Brumley, passed away at the Lebanon Hospital last Saturday morning of burns suffered earlier in the day when his home and contents were completely destroyed by fire. The accident occurred when Mr. Thornsberry poured kerosene from a container onto smouldering flames to start the morning's fire in the kitchen. The flames ignited the kerosene, which strewed over him and the entire room.
