The First cavalry, under command of Col. Viele, left
camp this morning over the Long island railroad for
various western forts...................
One death was reported this morning, that of Harry Weldon, private, company K, Second Infantry. Typhoid was the cause. His home was in Kenmer, Hart county, Kentucky. Weldon's family is believed to be of high standing in Kentucky. He was 21 years old.
