Arthur Joy King, 74, of Oak Grove Heights died Thursday, June 2, 2005, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center.

Born at Paragould, he was a landowner.

Survivors include his wife, Gearlene King of Paragould; four sons, Arthur King of Paragould, Terry King of Ocala, Fla., Perry King of Topeka, Kan., and Randy King of Lafe; four daughters, Lisa Niceschwander of Holly, Colo., Brenda Maness of McComb, Miss., Gail Taylor of Hardy and Regina Smith of Kennett, Mo.; one brother, Horace Mitchem of Paragould; one sister, Azalee Bolick of Lafe; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Ricky King and Michael King; his parents, Arthur J. and Maudie King; and four brothers.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Heath Funeral Home's Colonial Chapel, with Adrian Denham and Chad Wagoner officiating. Burial will be in Greene County Memorial Gardens at Paragould.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Shipman, Ewell Melton, Arthur King, Earnest Shepherd, Gaylon Rogers and Marlon Bay.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
