BENT, SR., Mr. Michael C. age 82, of Trotwood, Ohio, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2010 at his residence. A native of Xenia, OH and a Trotwood resident for 15 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Omega Baptist Church for 15 years. Preceded in death by his parents, Amiel C. Sr. and Ida Lee Bent; son, Michael C. Bent Jr. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Barbara A. Bent; son, Christopher B. (Yolanda) Bent of St. Charles, MO; daughters, Charlene J. (Jerome) Murray of Demoine, IA & Meckila A. Bent of Blacklick, OH; brother, Sylvanus G. (Hazel) Bent of Accokeek, MD; sister, Ida Lou Koonce of Savannah, GA; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 12 noon Friday, December 17, 2010 at the HOUSE OF WHEAT Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Pastor Jerome A. Murray officiating. Interment Dayton National Cemetery. Visitation 9 am Friday at the funeral home until the time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
