Death claims Alonzo W. Fraze-Well known county man dies Tuesday,last rites Thursday.

Alonzo W. Fraze,89,died at his home two miles west of Saratoga at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday,following a year's illness of cancer. Mr. Fraze was well known throughout the county and attended White River and Winchester schools. He resided in the county for the past 70 years,coming from Darke county where he was born.

The deceased is survived by his wife,Rebecca Jane and two sons,Iora G. and Pleasant O. Fraze,both of Saratoga:three brothers,Milo of Saratoga,ollie of Farmland, and Garfield of Winchester. Two brothers,Benjamin and Samuel and a sister,Mrs. Jane Cole preceded him in death.

Mr. Fraze was one of the organizers of the Saratoga bank and taught school in Ward and White River townships for fourteen years.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1:30 p.m. from the United Brethren Church in Saratoga,in charge of Rev. Zelma Mills. Burial will be in the Saratoga cemetery. The body will be taken from the Fraze funeral home in Union City to the residence this evening at 5 o'clock.
