Mrs. Wood's Father Dead
J. H. Forbes, the father of Mrs. J. M. Wood, of this city, passed away at his home at Santa Rosa, Calif., Sunday, November 28. Mr. Forbes has been ailing for several months. Mrs. Wood was called south last winter when he was seriously ill.
Mr. Forbes was 71 years of age. He was an Odd Fellow and a veteran of the Civil war, and a native of Canada. Mrs. Wood is the only child.
