Alma L. Weyant, 87, Claysburg, died Weds., Jan. 19, 2011 at home. She was born in Claysburg to Taylor L. & Ella M. (Weyant) Dively. She married Rudy H. Weyant on March 4, 1946, in Winchester, VA and he died May 31, 2008. Survived by daughter, Susanne Hershberger & husband, Boye; sons: David T. & wife, Vicki, and Dennis D. & wife, Susan, all of Claysburg; 4 grandchildren: Troy Weyant & wife, Debra, of Mount Holly Springs; Todd Weyant & fiancee, Rachel Placek, of Carlisle; Christian Merrits & girlfriend, Jesse, of Altoona and Kylie Hershberger & boyfriend, Craig, of Claysburg; gr. grandchildren: Alexandra and Colin Weyant; and brother, H. Roy Dively & wife, Janet, of Claysburg. Predeceased by brother, Galen P. Dively. Alma was a 1941 graduate of Greenfield High School. She was employed at Sylvania during WWII. Member, Upper Claar Church of the Brethren; Claysburg Fire Co. and Claysburg American Legion, Ladies Auxiliaries. Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg. Interment, Upper Claar Cemetery.
