Obituary:
Oscar Caswell Arnold, 88, of Burlington, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2012, at Alamance Regional Medical Center. He was born in Caswell County to the late James Franklin and Maggie Bowles Arnold. He was a member of Open Bible Baptist Church and was a tobacco farmer.
He is survived by his wife of the home, Dorothy Louise Cook Arnold; daughter, Sandra; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his children, Harold and Martha; parents; two brothers and nine sisters.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery by Pastor Steve Pruitt. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Monday prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
