Ida Kuhn January 11, 1955
Mrs. Ida Kuhn, 74, of 613 Huron Ave., a former resident of Ada, died early today at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital after a protracted illness. She was born October 20, 1880, on a farm in the town of Sheboygan Falls, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ludolph Alves. She was married to William Kuhn of the town of Meeme in September 1901. The couple operated the Ada Meat Market until Mr. Kuhn's death on Feb. 14, 1941. For the past 10 years, Mrs. Kuhn had lived in Sheboygan. She was a member of the Zion Reformed Church and the Ladies' Aid Society of the church.
Only immediate survivor is a brother, Hugo Alves, of Sheboygan. In addition to her husband and parents, two brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Thursday at the Meiselwitz Funeral home, Kiel, with the Rev. Clarence Koehler, pastor of Zion Reformed church in Sheboygan, officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Evangelical and Reformed cemetery at Schwartzwald in the town of Herman.
